Peter Christian, the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, and Grigorii Loginov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Nauru, took part in the visit as well.
In framework of the official events, dedicated to the 50th Independence Day of the Republic of Nauru, an ethnographic exhibition was opened in Yaren, where traditional buildings, instruments of labor, domestic artifacts of not only the people of Nauru, but also the people of Fiji, Tuvalu, Guam and Micronesia were presented.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, participated in the event as well.
H.E. Honorable Baron Waqa, the President of the Republic of Nauru, members of Government and Parliament of Nauru, high guests – Heads of friendly states as well as Ministers attended the mass.
In honor of the guests a festive dinner was held after the mass.

During the reception the Minister thanked the President for the invitation and on behalf of the South Ossetian authorities once again expressed words of gratitude for the decision to recognize the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia made in 2009.
Alongside with this Minister Medoev handed the congratulatory letter from Anatolii Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, addressed to Baron Waqa, the President of the Republic of Nauru, on the occasion of the main national holiday – the Independence Day.

The project is of vital importance for the Republic of Nauru, since it provides secure functioning of the infrastructure of the whole state.
At the solemn opening ceremony the President of the Republic of Nauru Baron Waqa cut the ribbon and launched the station.
In his welcoming speech President Waqa congratulated the audience with a wonderful gift for the 50th Independence Day of Nauru and emphasized that construction and launch of the object would ensure stable electrical power supply.

During the meeting the parties discussed general issues of mutual interest related to Christianity.
The South Ossetian President thanked His Holiness for the audience and congratulated the Patriarch with Christmas, having noted the special role of Orthodoxy in the history and modern life of the people of South Ossetia. The President emphasized that the priority role of Orthodoxy in South Ossetia is stipulated by the Constitution of the Republic.

Father Stefan, the Beneficiary of the Church, told the guests about the history of construction and reconstruction of the main sanctuary of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Church of Saint Sava is one of the biggest Orthodox cathedrals in the Europe, which impresses with its grandeur and scale. The Church of Saint Sava in Vracar plateau stands on the same place where the Ottoman Turks enslaving Serbian lands barbarously burned the relics of the greatest saint and the first Archbishop of Serbia.
Later the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia visited the metochion of the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgrade – the Church of Holy Trinity.
