On March 26 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitrii Medoev hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov.

During the meeting Dmitrii Medoev expressed his deep condolences over the loss of lives in Kemerovo shopping mall fire, expressed words of encouragement and sympathy to the injured and wished them a speedy recovery.

The Official Representative of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Valeriy Savlaev and his wife and Ossetian artists from Moscow Vladimir Gobozov and Georgiy Gobozov visited the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry on March 26.

Opening ceremony of a memorial plaque to Znaur Gassiev, installed on the house where the political patriarch of South Ossetia lived, took place on March 26.

Anatolii Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Erik Pukhaev, the Prime Minister, Petr Gassiev, the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, Dmitrii Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, Znaur Gassiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, and public figures took part in the ceremony.
