Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Marat Kulakhmetov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia, on July 3.


A ceremony of credential letters presentation by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Marat Kulakhmetov to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev took place.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the assignment and wished him every success in his work. The Ambassador underlined the importance of further expanding cooperation, noted the existence of serious potential for intensifying cooperation and assured that, in his turn he would work on strengthening the bilateral relations.

During the meeting the parties expressed satisfaction with the traditionally friendly interstate relations between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, reaffirmed readiness to deepen political dialogue and to strengthen cooperation in different areas.
