Republic of South Ossetia is located оn the southern slopes of the Main Caucasus Range in the area of 3900 square meters.
Тhe capital is the city of Tskhinval.

Announcement of the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia

On 27 June 2013 a special edition of newspaper ‘Vestnik of South Ossetia’ is published by the Plenipotentiary Representation (Embassy) of Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. This edition is published as an attachment to PMR republican newspaper ‘Pridnestrovie’ from February 2009 on a quarterly bases.


‘Vestnik of South Ossetia’ follows up on the main news from South Ossetia, introduces culture and traditions of South Ossetia to the Pridnestrovian readers. The aim of the ‘Vestnik’ is facilitate the dialogue between brother Republics of Pridnestrovie and South Ossetia.

Plenipotentiary Representation (Embassy) of Republic of South Ossetia in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, headed by Sergey Surago is extending and strengthening the bilateral ties between our countries and highlights processes that are taking place in Republic of South Ossetia.
