Republic of South Ossetia is located оn the southern slopes of the Main Caucasus Range in the area of 3900 square meters. Тhe capital is the city of Tskhinval.

Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia M. Dzhioev with the Director of RF MFA Department on social work with compatriots abroad A. Tchepurin

On 18 of February eventuated a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia M. Dzhioev and the State adviser of RSO President on links with social unions K. Dzugaev with the Director of RF MFA Department on social work with compatriots abroad A. Tchepurin, who came to the Republic of South Ossetia with a working visit.

During the meeting were discussed questions pertaining to the agenda of Russian compatriots living in South Ossetia. From the South-Ossetian side gratitude was expressed for help and support of Russian Federation to Russian compatriots and RF citizens in South Ossetia in overcoming of the aftermaths of Georgian aggression 2008, creation of conditions for strengthening of social, cultural and language links with RF.

The parties of the meeting with satisfaction mentioned an effective and smooth cooperation of social unions of both countries.

The meeting was participated by the first deputy RSO Foreign Minister A. Pliev and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of RF in RSO E. Kargiev.
