Anatolii Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Yason Demeev, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation, on October 22.

Andrey Tskhovrebov, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, participated in the meeting.
Activities conducted by the Consul as well plans for the nearest future have been discussed.

For personal contribution to development and strengthening of friendly relations between the nations Anatolii Bibilov awarded Yason Demeev with a medal “In commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the Victory of the Ossetian Nation in the Patriotic War”.

Substantial discussion between the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrey Tskhovrebov and Yason Demeev took place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic on the same day.

Honorary Consul reported about his work in the Far East. Consultations on solution of specific issues which would promote fruitful development of cooperation between South Ossetia and the Far Eastern Federal District in general and the city of Vladivostok in particular have been conducted. Apart from that plans for further work of the Honorary Consul in the Far East have been developed.

To praise achievements, active civil position and successful work of the Consul the ministerial medal “For Contribution to International Cooperation” was given to Yason Demeev.
