May 23 saw Dmitrii Medoev, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister, and Alan Kochiev, the Mayor of Tskhinval, arriving upon an invitation from Fillipo Gasperi, Mayor of Gradara, in the town of Gradara (the Italian Republic).


During a meeting with Mr. Gasperi the parties discussed the prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tskhinval and Gradara in spheres of urban infrastructure, culture, tourism, as well as trade and entrepreneurship.

Mauro Murgia, the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia in Italy, participated in the meeting.

The visit will last till May 25.
