Communique of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia On mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Syrian Arab Republic

Reaffirming their commitment to general principles of international law,

Being guided by the desire to establish and develop full-fledged political, economic and cultural interaction between the two states for the benefit of the two nations,

Acting in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963,

Declare mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations at level of embassies starting from the date of the Communique.
