Andrey Tskhovrebov, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Juan Ernesto Vásquez Araya, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua in the Republic of South Ossetia, who handed copies of credentials, on July 11.


Range of relevant issues concerning bilateral relations and the perspectives of cooperation between South Ossetia and Nicaragua at international stage were discussed at the meeting in warm and friendly atmosphere.

The parties shaped plans for conducting joint events in spheres of cultural exchange and education that could promote further rapprochement of the two nations, strengthening and developing friendship and mutual understanding.

On the meeting completion memorable gifts were presented to the guests.
