Pertaining to the meeting of Dmitry Medoev and Sergey Lavrov, Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation

On the invitation from Foreign Minister Lavrov, Dmitriy Medoev, South Ossetian Foreign Minister, arrived in Moscow on a working visit on July 9.


The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation was held in the Reception House of the MFA of Russia.

Current level and the perspectives of South Ossetian-Russian relations, extension and strengthening the political dialogue, further development of the legal base of the bilateral relations as well as other issues, related to the interstate cooperation, were discussed by the Heads of Foreign Policy Departments.

Upon the negotiations, which run in friendly atmosphere, there was a press conference.
