We in the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia have heard with anxiety and bewilderment the news about the barbarous air strike by the USA, the Great Britain and France on the territory of a sovereign state – the Syrian Arab Republic.

This unwarranted military action, which looks like a classic military adventure, will without any doubt damage the fragile peace that has established after the many-years-long civil war in Syria.

The Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia strongly condemns whatever forms of state-supported terrorism – this is the only way, how the night action of the coalition, aimed at inflaming full-scale war in the region, could be characterized.

We stand for peaceful civilized approach to solution of international problems, which would base on generally recognized norms, and consider it inadmissible to substitute these norms with unjustified ferocity and medieval barbarity.
