In framework of the official visit to the Syrian Arab Republic the delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia, headed by President Anatolii Bibilov, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Damascus.


The South Ossetian President Bibilov, accompanied by Higher Education Minister Atef Nadda and the Guard of Honor laid a wreath in colors of the South Ossetian flag to the military memorial, raised in honor of the Syrian army soldiers, killed in various battles.

Anatolii Bibilov and members of the South Ossetian delegation visited the mausoleum, where an introductory tour was organized, and where the South Ossetian President left a record in the Visitors’ Book.
