Republic of South Ossetia is located оn the southern slopes of the Main Caucasus Range in the area of 3900 square meters. Тhe capital is the city of Tskhinval.

The information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Of South Ossetia

On the 13th of May was held the working meeting of the Plenipotentiary representative of the President of RSO on post conflict regulation Boris Chochiev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Dzhioev and the members of South Ossetian delegation of the Geneva Discussions for the security in Transcaucasia with the official delegation of the Geneva Discussions Co-Chairs.

Among the members of the delegation were EU Co-Chair Pierre Morel, the OSCE Co-Chair ambassador Bolat Nurgaliev, the UN Co-Chair ambassador Anti Turunen, the OSCE secretariat of the officer Mrs. Rasa Ostrauscaite, the European Commission Senior political advisor Mr. Tierry Beshe, the High Commissioner on refugees affairs Mr. Christopher Birvirs.
During the meeting the parties touched upon all the aspects of the Geneva Discussions which would be discussed at the 11th round, particularly the issues regarding the no use of force document between Georgia and South Ossetia, the missing citizens of RSO and illegally condemned by Georgian law courts.
The South Ossetian party was represented by the State advisor of the President of RSO K. Kochiev, the authorized representative of the President of RSO on human rights D. Sanakoev, the Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President of RSO on postconflict regulation M. Chigoev.
The President of RSO Eduard Kokoity also received the Co-Chairs of Geneva Discussions.
