“The Days of Ossetian Culture” which are annually organized by Association “Renaissance Sandidzan”, headed by Radion Pukhaev, have been taking place in Brussels these days. Alan Kochiev, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia, participated in the solemn opening ceremony. On behalf of Anatoliy Bibilov, the President of the Republic, and Dmitriy Medoev, South Ossetia Foreign Minister, he welcomed the attendees.


Roundtable discussion on “Bridges for Cooperation”, where statements on the importance of culture, cultural exchanges and intercultural dialogue in building relationships between people and nations were presented, was organized on the margins of the event.

In framework of his visit the Deputy Minister Kochiev met with representatives of Ossetian expat communities in Belgium and Germany.
