Republic of South Ossetia is located оn the southern slopes of the Main Caucasus Range in the area of 3900 square meters. Тhe capital is the city of Tskhinval.

Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia

On November 28, 2012 the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in Russian Federation played host for the meeting of Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia David Sanakoev with students of RF MFA Diplomatic Academy, MSIIR (University) students and students of International relations of RGSU faculty, sent from South Ossetia for teaching.

The meeting was participated by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in RF D. N. Medoev and Ambassy staff.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs David Sanakoev passed to the students greetings from RSO President Leonid Tibilov and assured them that the Government is going to continue showing thought for the problems of students, sent to Russia for teaching.
The Head of Foreign Office reminded to students that learning in best universities of Russian Federation gives them good opportunities and according to their achievements in studies and public life will be formed an opinion not just about the students themselves, but also about the Republic which they represents. Presently they are faces serious tasks as they are representatives of independent state and soon students – international affairs experts will be enriching both intellectual and cultural life of our state and make an efforts for further defending of its interests at the international scene.

Then David Sanakoev acquainted students with processes, ongoing presently in the Republic and around it. Students in their turn were asking Minister questions interesting them.
