On 2 October 2013 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of South Ossetia Alan Kochiev received Counselor of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Republic of South Ossetia Marco Gil Casanova and First Secretary of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Republic of South Ossetia Maria Gabriela Ruis.


During the meeting the sides had an opinion exchange on issues of further cooperation and development of bilateral ties. The sides confirmed their intention to extend cooperation and improvement of practical interaction between South Ossetia and Venezuela both in socio-economic and cultural spheres.
