Оn 11-15 April 2011 in Strasburg will start the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PAСE), where among other subjects is planned to discuss Georgia’s commitments observance as a member of this authoritative international organization.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia draws attention of the members of PAСE to the fact that Georgia demonstratively continues ignoring the undertaken international obligations, implementation of which was a condition of the acceptance of this country to the Council of Europe.

With deep pain perceived the people of South Ossetia the news of terrorist act committed at the “Domodedovo” airport in Moscow on 24 January 2011which caused multiple human casualties.
There is no and should not be any justification for such bloody actions leading to the downfall and suffering of guiltless people.

In connection with the armed assault in Diseu village
On 15 of June 2010 Diseu village of Tskhinval district, the Republic of South Ossetia was fired from the police post in Koshki village, Georgia. As a result of this incident three fire-arms wounds received a citizen of South Ossetia Anatoly Kisiev, and his 15-year old son Robert Kisiev was detained and badly beaten, then released.
